Job Description
1. Office hours: Monday-Friday, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
2. Make weekly manufacturing site visits throughout the country, including in and around Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, and other destinations
3. Conduct manufacturing site audit, which may include visiting staff, taking a physical plant tour, taking photos, and writing a report
4. Research new manufacturers and companies
5. Call and follow-up with companies
6. Attend trade shows
7. Attend relevant networking events
8. Assist on any new projects by request
Job
requirement
1. Working knowledge of Vietnamese and English; some Chinese helpful
2. +- 5 years working in manufacturing, supply chain, import/export or similar industry
3. COLLEGE MAJOR/EXPERIENCE: Supply chain, business, accounting, finance, liberal arts.
DESCRIPTION
The Vietnam Sourcing Manager position serves as the in-country contact for all sourcing activity. He is a liaison between the Shanghai office with the Vietnam manufacturers and is responsible for any activity in-country.
EXPECTATION
The position requires a minimum of 40 hours per week from 9-5 pm, mainly working remotely and includes manufacturing site visits, meeting with potential clients, and attending trade shows and conferences.
